 All Badger Brothers coffees are micro-roasted in our custom built Sivetz fluid-bed roaster, onsite and on demand! Fluid bed roasters utilize hot air to roast the coffee. As the air moves past the coffee if lifts, or fluidizes the coffee bed. The air removes the chaff from the chamber. That results in a cleaner less smoky roast. Furthermore, fluid bed roasters lessen the formation of carbon and tars in the chamber which can give coffee burnt or bitter flavor profiles.
